Players

Rolling Red is a professional golf tour. Any professional player with previous tournament experience may register without restriction. The tour does also welcome amateurs with a 4.0 handicap or better.

Purse

The top third of players will receive prize money. The exact payout amount will be dependent on the field and till be announced after the day two cut. First place is guaranteed and averages $10,000. Please see each tournament's registration page to confirm the top prize as it may vary for each event.

Amateur Prizes

The Low-Amateur will receive a free entry into one of our future events.

Payment

Professionals will receive their earnings as a direct deposit which should arrive in their bank account within five business days.

Walk or Ride

Players may choose to walk or ride unless otherwise noted for a given event. Carts are not included in the entry fee; if a player wishes to ride they must pay the pro shop each morning for their cart.

Pace of Play

Players are expected to play at a brisk pace. Slow play is not allowed. Players have 45 seconds to play their shot and should thus walk with a purpose and prepare for their shot while other players are hitting.

The first player to finish the hole is required to move on to the next hole before the other two players finish. Do not stand & hold the flag or watch them finish. Once to the next hole, prepare for your tee shot, do your routine, and once the other two players arrive - hit your shot. Not following this procedure will result in a warning followed by a two-stroke penalty.

Players are expected to play in 4 hours or less. Playing in more than 4 hours and 15 minutes and/or not being on the 18th tee when the group in front is on the 18th green will result in a one-stroke penalty to the entire group.

Caddies

Caddies are allowed. If using a cart, the caddie and player may not ride at the same time except on long or difficult walks between holes. Caddies may ride in the cart in place of their player & switch who is walking throughout the round as often as desired. Caddies may not rent their own cart as they would then be considered a spectator & thus not allowed to interact with the player or leave the cart path. Infraction of this rule will result in disqualification.

Dress Code

All Players and Spectators are required to have a tucked in collared shirt at all times. Denim, Cargo Shorts, Tank Tops, T-Shirts, Jeans, Hoodies, Bandanas, and any other non-golf attire is not to be worn by any player, caddie, or spectator. We expect our Professionals, Amateurs, and Caddies to uphold the standard for attire. Not following the dress code will result in a warning. Once informed, if the attire is not changed for future tournament rounds, the player will be asked to change attire immediately or be disqualified.

Practice Round

Please contact the host course for scheduling your practice round, and make sure to ask for the tournament rate. In some circumstances, keep in mind that courses may offer a better rate by booking a normal tee time.
